Constraints as Opportunities (Lamp Project)
Arizona State University, Fall 2002
Critic: Thomas Hartman

Program Statement:
Experimentation with salvaged objects, electricity, and architecture. The result is a design that responds to its environment, a form that cannot be entirely anticipated within a homogenous field of ‘designable space’. Objects utilized: steel casters, a ‘one-way’ road sign, the tip of an aircraft wing, a brass propeller, swamp cooler parts, a shower rod, and a broken funnel.
