Houses are heated centrally – smoke is eliminated – boulevards are drained – unsanitary institutions are removed – a network of catacombs provides shelter for the homeless – waste is filtered through underground sewers and is ‘ozonized’ by hygienic towers – bodies are transferred through underground tunnels into the surrounding mountains, then cremated and absorbed into the earth.
