BOX
whatever type
pack it with flesh

powered by vodka & tonic

Add bubble wrap
            a windsock and
pack it below the alps
in blue white graffiti

So soft so diluted sound of transformers and A/C haunt the dumpster beneath peeling corrugation so inviting across from Young's Market and above “JMV”

Pack it in a Ralph's bag
            one of each

Haunt the headphones and collect newspapers whatever type
nothing vertical nothing horizontal and vents everywhere
no parking fire-zone from Summit, Illinois to Los Angeles, California in whatever box you can afford

when you arrive my breakfast of choice is
my flesh of choice is cardboard
on Central Avenue and Gladys L.A. eight gray early Sunday morning
